National Championships

USA Triathlon hosts national championship events each year, giving athletes from ages 7 to 80+ the opportunity to be named a national champion in one of the multisport disciplines. National championship events can also qualify athletes for Team USA, a contingent of age-groupers that represent the U.S. in world championships.

State Championships

Race local and race for a state title at USA Triathlon State Championships! Organized by local USA Triathlon Race Directors, State Championships bring together your local multisport community and offer you the chance to race against the best athletes in your state and region. Also, race a State Championship and qualify for USA Triathlon Nationals!

All State Championships include a non-drafting sprint and Olympic-distance triathlon as well as a high school division in the sprint or super-sprint race. Many State Championships also offer aquathlon (swim-run), aquabike (swim-bike) and/or duathlon (run-bike-run) races, so bring a friend and introduce them to multisport!
