COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Triathlon Team athletes will look sharp at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in the specially-designed Olympic & Paralympic trisuits, produced by Z3R0D.

USA Triathlon partnered with Z3R0D in 2023 as the French brand has provided U.S. elite triathletes and elite paratriathletes the official competition suits for national and international races. Together, Z3R0D and USA Triathlon designed the special Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic trisuits that feature creative design elements such as the U.S. stars and stripes and the Statue of Liberty.

U.S. Olympic triathletes will wear the suits on July 30 (men’s individual race), July 31 (women’s individual race) and Aug. 5 (Mixed Relay). U.S. Paralympic triathletes will wear the suits on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2.

“Our U.S. Olympians and Paralympians will race in Paris with high-quality, well-designed and incredibly fast trisuit thanks to our exciting partnership with Z3R0D,” said Scott Schnitzspahn, USA Triathlon High Performance General Manager. “The level of detail that has gone into designing, testing and creating the special Olympic and Paralympic uniforms for our triathletes demonstrates Z3R0D’s commitment to performance.”

“We are especially thrilled to partner with USA Triathlon and supply their Olympic and Paralympic athletes with our racing triathlon suits. It is a great honor and achievement for our brand to welcome these highly talented triathletes,” said Frédéric DOREZ, co-founder of the brand, head chief of the international federations program. “Our dedication and passion propel this core project daily within our company. We continually innovate in product design to enhance usability, and having world-class athletes involved greatly contributes to this positive cycle.”

“PARIS 2024 is a long-term project that has driven our relentless pursuit of perfection in trisuit design. Over several years, we have dedicated extensive research and development to create the most advanced trisuit we have ever produced. Innovative new fabrics, engineered specifically for this race, were developed to enhance performance. Each suit has undergone rigorous wind tunnel testing to validate its efficiency and ensure optimal aerodynamic performance,” DOREZ continued.

The look of the trisuits was designed by USA Triathlon’s creative services team, led by Mackenzie Brown. The Statue of Liberty on the side of the trisuit has a double meaning, serving as one of the most important symbols of the U.S., and symbolizing our longstanding friendship with France as the Statue was gifted to the U.S. by the French in 1884.

The movement of the stripes represents what it would look like if the U.S. flag was blowing in the wind. Unlike other iterations of our U.S. Elite Team trisuit, the stars in this special Olympic and Paralympic trisuit are multiple sizes and colors to replicate what fireworks would look like with the Statue of Liberty as the backdrop.
