“A Celebration of Sport,” USA Triathlon Foundation Gala Presented by TicketSocket Scheduled for Sept. 12 in Atlantic City

by USA Triathlon

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon and the USA Triathlon Foundation today announced the date and location for the 2024 USA Triathlon Foundation Gala presented by TicketSocket. A “Celebration of Sport,” the USA Triathlon Foundation Gala is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 12 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, at historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, held in conjunction with the 2024 USA Triathlon Olympic and Sprint Distance National Championships, scheduled for Sept. 13-15.

The USA Triathlon Foundation Gala celebrates the 10 years of achievements of the USA Triathlon Foundation and includes dinner and a silent auction, benefitting the USA Triathlon Foundation. Since it was established in 2014, the Foundation has provided millions of dollars in grants to organizations and individuals in pursuit of its mission and three pillars — Encourage youth participation; Inspire pathways to access and inclusion; and Ignite Olympic/Paralympic dreams — to create a healthier United States through the sport of triathlon.

The 2023 USA Triathlon Athletes of the Year will be honored at the Gala, with the celebration presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare. In addition, the 2023 Race Director of the Year will be honored and presented by TicketSocket. The 2023 Multisport Awards winners will also be honored.

"We are thrilled to invite everyone to join us at the 2024 USA Triathlon Foundation Gala in Atlantic City. This special evening will not only celebrate a decade of remarkable achievements by the Foundation, but also honor the extraordinary athletes and individuals who have achieved incredible athlete feats and contributed to our mission,” said Christi-Marie Butler, USA Triathlon Chief Development Officer. “Your presence and support at the Gala will help us continue to inspire youth participation, foster inclusion, and ignite the dreams of Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls. Let's come together to celebrate the sport we love and make a lasting impact on the future of triathlon."

“TicketSocket is happy to support the USA Triathlon Foundation as the presenting partner of this year's Gala. The Foundation's grants and programs are breaking down boundaries and providing access for athlete involvement in multisport, while positively impacting the entire community,” said Kai Blache, president at TicketSocket. “We are also proud to recognize the top race director with the TicketSocket Race Director of the Year award for outstanding achievements in the local community.”

Varlo Sports, the largest gift-in-kind sponsor of the event, is also excited to host a dynamic activation party at the Bader Field race expo on Friday, September 13. Featuring live DJ sets, games, giveaways, and engagement with USA Triathlon Foundation and Team Varlo ambassadors, this high energy event aims to keep the excitement of the Gala and the organization’s charitable pillars going.

"Varlo is proud to support the Foundation’s work in creating inclusive pathways to ensure that athletes of all abilities and backgrounds have the opportunity to compete in triathlon," said Ed Chang, Chief Operating Officer of Varlo Sports. "Come party with a purpose and make a difference!

Individual tickets for the USA Triathlon Foundation Gala are $175 and tables for 10 are available for $1,500.
