Age Group Team USA Athletes Represent at 2025 World Triathlon Powerman Middle Distance Duathlon Championships Alsdorf

ALSDORF, Germany — Age Group Team USA athlete Kirsten Sass (McKenzie, Tenn.) won the women's 45-49 age group world title at the 2025 World Triathlon Powerman Middle Distance Duathlon Championships Alsdorf, held April 27-29 in Germany. Sass and a team of 20-plus U.S. run-bike athletes represented Age Group Team USA at the Powerman Middle Distance Duathlon Championships.

Sass, a multiple-time USA Triathlon National Champion in duathlon and triathlon, won the world title in Germany by completing the 10-kilometer run, 60k bike and 10k run in a time of 2 hours, 59 minutes, 3 seconds.

Pamela Roberts earned the bronze medal in the women's 75-79 age group. Congratulations to all of the 20-plus Team USA athletes!
