  • Invest in development and support National Federations to grow and sustain the sport across all continents
  • Develop innovative funding models for a global race calendar that better serves athletes at all levels
  • Improve communication between TRI and National Federations to promote transparency, foster engagement, and provide ongoing efforts for feedback
  • Commercialize the sport by engaging new sponsors and generating greater revenue for re-investment into the sport:
    • Develop and implement a global marketing strategy, tailored to regional strengths
    • Form new and strengthen strategic alliances with other triathlon organizations
  • Support Continental Confederations by listening to their specific challenges, ideas, and strengths to implement plans that support growth and financial stability
  • Elevate voices of National Federations and every level of the sport to inform and strengthen decision making
  • Refine policies so they are functional, easy to understand and strengthen governance practices

Gabriela Gallegos is a passionate and dedicated leader who serves World Triathlon with a vision toward growth and development. Bilingual in English and Spanish, her strong collaborative spirit is grounded in clear communication, excellence, and integrity.

Gabriela’s background in law and policy, combined with 15 years of experience in the sport as a triathlon entrepreneur and race director, USA Triathlon Board Member, and 4 years as a World Triathlon Executive Board member, equips her with the strategic skills necessary to help drive positive change and advance the sport globally.
