Learn About USA Triathlon’s New Membership Tiers

USA Triathlon has a new tiered membership structure, providing multisport athletes more flexibility in choosing a membership and benefits that fit within your unique multisport journey. 

The new memberships and benefits are USA Triathlon’s first updates and price increases to the annual membership structure since 2016.

Why have we shifted our membership product?

USA Triathlon has spent the last several months considering the unique journeys of each of our members. With no changes to our core adult products or pricing in eight years, we have restructured our membership products and benefits to provide increased value across four new tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. These products are tailored to incorporate each athlete’s individual needs and goals to deliver exceptional benefits and value. 

Where do my membership fees go?

USA Triathlon is a not-for-profit organization and your fees are reinvested directly back into programs that support the growth of the sport.

Your membership supports:

• Programming to grow triathlon across the U.S., including youth and DEIA initiatives
• Resources for race directors, coaches and clubs to support you as you grow your business and help us create a thriving ecosystem
• Events that cultivate meaningful experiences and bring the USA Triathlon community together

What happens to my current membership?  

As we evolve from our baseline annual memberships, as a USA Triathlon annual member, you will transition seamlessly into our Silver Membership and receive unlimited access to USA Triathlon sanctioned events, exclusive training guides and resources, a digital subscription to USA Triathlon Magazine, and access to extended race and partner discounts.

If you choose to upgrade now, you will receive a pro-rate credit of the amount still left on your current membership product to be put towards your new upgraded membership.
