NICE, France — For the first time ever, the IRONMAN World Championships were held outside of the U.S. as the very best professional and age group men triathletes from around the world raced from the Mediterranean to the mountains in the glamorous French riviera city of Nice.
U.S. age group men had great success, with six podium performances, led by Tim Bradley (Merrick, N.Y.) winning the men's 60-64 age group world title. The title is Bradley's second world championship in a row.
